Weigh In and Speed Work

This mornings weight was 128.2. So, a little gain, but I am not going to get upset about it. I am trying some new things this week, because I am not losing. I have been eating less and working out more. I am going to try to eat more for the next week and see how that works out.

Today was speed work day! My workout looked like this:

Minute      Speed
1-5              6.0
6-15            6.3
16-23          6.7
24-25          7.0
26-30          6.0

It was NICE! I love speed work even though it is so tough to get through.

I followed up the workout with a smoothie!
1/2 cup blueberries
handful of spinach
1 scoop of protein powder
1/4 cup of soy milk
1/2 cup of water

I love my new protein powder! The taste is awesome. I will incorporate this smoothie for my post workout snack everyday. Hopefully, adding that as a meal will help with me losing some weight. We have no groceries today(because I am lazy busy). So, I will be getting creative for lunch.

Goal of the Day: Go Grocery Shopping. Along with some Meal Planning.

What do you do when the scale stalls?

  1. If the scale stalls for me, usually I'll eat low carb for 3 or 4 days. It helps, but it's not fun.

  2. so excited to find another utah blogger :) and awesome speed workout this morning...i did my first one this week and was scared out of my mind but i finished it and felt great after :)

when the scale stalls...i am not sure if i actually do something different but i notice i feel better and actually lose more weight when i eat on a regular schedule every now I eat at least something every 3 hours to keep my energy levels and metabolism going. you look fabulous by the way!!

  3. Your smoothie sounds yummy. What brand of protein powder do you use?
I just found your blog, so glad I did. I look forward to stopping back for updates.

  4. I am stalking you now. Hope you don't mind! lol.

I think you are following one of my friend's blog, and I am from Utah as well! I love finding new running blogs, especially bloggers that are local! Nice job on your speedwork!
