Back To It!
I've been so lazy and eating a lot of garbage lately. Birthday week for me is over and it's time to get my shit together. I woke up and weighed this morning.
141.2
When I lost weight and got fit for the first time in my adult life, my starting weight was 142. My lowest weight since has been 121. Seeing the 141.2 wasn't much of of a shock actually. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. I've been hanging between 130 and 135 for almost 2 years now. This past few weeks all hell has broken loose. I am still working out 3-5 days a week, but not prepping like I should.
Today I am back at it. Tracking my food and continuing my workouts.
Today's workout:
25 minutes sprint HIIT 40 on, 20 off, 30 on, 30 off
Biceps, triceps and some ab work
Finished off with 25 minutes on the stepmill
Total time 1 hour 40 minutes and 851 calories burned
It was a sweaty workout and pretty tough.
Food wise I have everything packed and my gallon of water with me at all times.
I will be weighing in every Tuesday, but plan to blog daily or every other day. I've found blogging keeps me on track to my goals.

On A Roll....
....With blogging and the workout commitments. I tracked all food yesterday and worked out.
Today's Workout
2.5 minutes on the treadmill0
25 minutes on the elliptical(my legs are SO sore!)
BootCamp Workout of the day. It was definitely a fun one.
My favorite was the "Combo 3":
4 Soldier Kicks
4 High Knees
4 Plyo Lunges
4 Mountain Climbers
*Repeated 4 times
I finished with 150 various moves from the 300 ab challenge that I pinned from Pinterest.
It was an excellent workout!! I am already feeling it in my lower back, abs and triceps!
I have my lunch and snacks packed. I planned to NOT fail today.
I hope you have a happy Wednesday!!!

Talking about food...
It's amazing what reading old blog posts can show you.
For the past fewweeks months, I have been in a food rut. I am embarrassed to admit that I have been eating way too much fast food and not near enough veggies. Early last year through September, I was on a schedule of grocery shopping and meal prepping every Sunday. I have done that only a handful of times since then. I have allowed the "No Time To Prep Meals, So Fast Food/Restaurant It Is." It is true though....the more crap you eat, the more crap you crave. Well I am tired of eating the crap! I am tired of gaining weight! I am tired of being TIRED because of what I eat. Yes, I exercise 4-6 days most weeks, but that is not enough. My food has to change!
When I went back and read some of my older posts(when I was maintaining a weight of 124), I realized that I was eating clean food that I love. I was putting effort into meal planning and eating food that was good for my body(and I LOVED!!). I cared to make the time to prep good meals and put thought into what I wanted to eat during the week.
This was the first camping trip of last season. That is my afternoon lunch, which was later followed up by 2 pieces of chicken and some fruit. This was a daily thing and I could NOT get enough. Veggies, Protein and a healthy carb were on tap for every meal.
I remember having so much energy. I would come home from a long run and be hustling and bustling around the house like a mad woman. Cleaning, doing laundry, playing with the pups, and going on walks with Chad. I miss having that energy and I realized it has a lot to do with what I am eating.
So, I am challenging myself this week.
Goal Of The Day: Grocery Shop and Meal Plan/Prep
Here's to a great week!!!

- I will be going back to my clean eating. Also, will be doing no sweets. Cakes, cookies, candy ice cream, etc.
- I will make a meal plan and prep all of my breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. Along with calorie counting.
- I will be doing LiveFit workouts before work Monday-Friday.
- I will take the pups on more walks this week.
- I will unplug from the computer at night and just spend time with my little family.

Weigh In and Speed Work
This mornings weight was 128.2. So, a little gain, but I am not going to get upset about it. I am trying some new things this week, because I am not losing. I have been eating less and working out more. I am going to try to eat more for the next week and see how that works out.
Today was speed work day! My workout looked like this:
Minute Speed
1-5 6.0
6-15 6.3
16-23 6.7
24-25 7.0
26-30 6.0
It was NICE! I love speed work even though it is so tough to get through.
I followed up the workout with a smoothie!
1/2 cup blueberries
handful of spinach
1 scoop of protein powder
1/4 cup of soy milk
1/2 cup of water
I love my new protein powder! The taste is awesome. I will incorporate this smoothie for my post workout snack everyday. Hopefully, adding that as a meal will help with me losing some weight. We have no groceries today(because I amlazy busy). So, I will be getting creative for lunch.
Goal of the Day: Go Grocery Shopping. Along with some Meal Planning.

I Love Weekends
Friday's Goal of the Day: Going out to dinner for a friends birthday tonight and I would like to be conscientious of what I eat and how much of it!
How did I do? I did fantastic. I started with a house salad and red wine vinaigrette and I ordered the seafood pasta. I ate most of the salad and less than half of the pasta. I loved the scallops in it!
Weekend Goal: (1)Try to maintain an eating schedule as close to the weekdays as possible. (2) Walk/Run a half marathon distance on Saturday.
How did I do? (1) I maintained a decent eating schedule this weekend and didn't go overboard on the food. (2) I did more than half complete this. I speed walked 8 miles on the treadmill Saturday morning. It took under 2 hours. Then, I came home and got Lenny for a 5 mile run....that turned into a 1 mile run. I had a very emotional Saturday and I really wanted to complete it all, but I have a lot going on in my life and I let my head get the better of me :( Oh well, 9 miles is better than nothing, right? Plus, I was SO SORE all day yesterday and during this mornings workout.
Today's Workout: 10 Minute elliptical warm up followed by a 3.0 mile run in 28:33 that is a 9:31/mile pace. On the treadmill, that is awesome!
This morning I weighed 128.6, which is up from 2 weeks ago of 127.6. That is fine by me. I am definitely gaining some muscle, as I am sore just about everyday. I will start strength training about 4 days a week. At first, I will do the Jillian Michael's DVD and then once I have a good base, I will work in a few gym strength training sessions a week.
On today's agenda, I work from 8:30AM-5PM. Then, head to the part time gig from 6PM-9PM.
